About me

I am passionate about helping people find their voices, and identity. Whether they have experienced trauma or abuse,  are feeling stuck, overwhelmed or need support with your mental health or relationships.

I began as a dog behaviourist and trainer, working with Assistance dogs, helping disabled people. I enjoyed observing the relationships between animal and person and began to notice and be interested in the impact of mental health to this relationship.

I decided to pursue my interest, and studied Psychology BSc whilst running my own dog training business. When I graduated, I could not pursue a full time masters so decided to train as an Integrative counsellor.

I am an experienced counsellor, working within the NHS  with trauma and PTSD for sexual abuse with young people and in postnatal trauma and grief and have been in private practice for over 5 years.

I have completed my training in Relational Transactional Analysis psychotherapy and am working on my dissertation to be fully accredited as such I am  currently a UKCP Trainee psychotherapist.
